Here’s how to transform your new business launch into a simple, profitable and sustainable success.

Six years ago, I was struggling with my backend. I launched my virtual assistant business, but I had no idea what to do next to keep that business running. I never got around to setting up my backend or launching systems. I skipped a vital step and went straight to booking clients. Big mistake!

Realizing something had to give, I took a week “vacation” from my nine to five job to reset my mind, body AND my business. That week literally changed my life! I had been talking about implementing systems for clients but hadn’t implemented any of my own.

I took the time off to figure it out. But I didn’t do it all on my own. Here are 3 Steps to Build Balance in Your Virtual Assistant Business:

Step #1 Set up your backend

Avoid scrambling to get deliverables out to your client. Instead, take the time to map out the entire service process from client intake all the way through to delivery of the work product and post-project customer support.

Step #2 Scale your business

Scaling isn’t something that you may think about when your office is in the living room or spare bedroom. Whatever you do, make your business scalable. Scaling basically means hiring someone or an entire team that can take over those tasks for you when you grow beyond a simple one or two-woman operation.

Step #3 Automate whatever you can’t outsource

Automation can help you achieve the freedom lifestyle you crave – insteading of hearing me and other business owners constantly talk about it. Automation can free up your time as well as enhance your scalability. What can you automate? If you find yourself sending the same emails over and over again, stop sending them manually and develop email templates or automate the delivery schedule of those emails using an email marketing system. Focus on making your business as productive and efficient as possible, and you will more likely get on the path to profitability.

Our guest expert, Shequana Hughes will be helping you with your entire Client Experience which starts in your backend!

The workshop “The Client Experience That Pays” will cover:

  • How to make the client onboarding process even easier for you and your clients

  • And how to have all the systems you need in one place!

And there are so many more amazing benefits of working with Shequana. I’ll tell you about her in my next email which will hit your inbox in the next two days.
